The assignments are backing up, and my frustration level is climbing. I was thinking about how I would need to leave early to find the sodium alginate for your lab today, and realizing that most of you talked your way through Activities 1 & 2 yesterday. No bueno!

So today you will do what you haven't done, heretofore. We will postpone water treatment until next week.

If there are videos to grade, well make sure they get graded...here's the rubric.

IN YOUR FOLDER BY THE END OF THE PERIOD BETTER BE

  1. Answers to the Wealth of Water Case Study
  2. Activities 1&2


Read the procedure for Activity 3.
Go to Classjump.com, click on message board and respond to the DOL:
 
Write a one paragraph essay explaining the water treatment process to a friend. Your essay should earn at least 3 of 4 points on the STAAR Rubric for Expository Writing. Post in the box below as a REPLY not a new thread.

1. Describe (not just identify) all four steps.
2. Specify whether each step is a chemical or physical process.
3. Write a cohesive paragraph that follows spelling and grammar conventions.
